Lauren Warbington Fletcher is an attorney serving Southwest Georgia and surrounding areas. She aggressively defends employers in a variety of employment disputes, in addition to offering general employment law counseling. Lauren enjoys advising employers on ways to strengthen their daily practices and policies and procedures to lessen the likelihood of being named in a lawsuit. Lauren has successfully defended employers in Department of Labor unemployment hearings and against charges of discrimination filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Lauren also vigorously pursues recovery for aggrieved creditors via lawsuits, post-judgment discovery, and garnishment actions in her collections practice.

Lauren is the President-Elect of the Cordele Rotary Club and currently serves as President of the Cordele Circuit Bar Association. Lauren also serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Pregnancy Care Center of Crisp, Dooly, and Wilcox Counties. In addition to her civic duties, Lauren is an active member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Vienna, Georgia.

Lauren earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2013, graduating cum laude. During law school, Fletcher served as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. A "Double Dawg," she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Georgia in 2010, graduating summa cum laude. A graduate of the Class of 2006, Fletcher attended Fullington Academy in Pinehurst, where she was the Valedictorian as well as the STAR Student for Dooly County. Lauren is a lifelong native of Dooly County, where her family has farmed for over 75 years.

As a former Assistant District Attorney for the Cordele Judicial Circuit, Lauren successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases involving crimes against children and crimes committed in Dooly County. Lauren is an experienced litigator, having successfully tried numerous complex cases involving child physical and sexual abuse, white collar crime, and narcotics.

Fletcher is happily married to James Michael Fletcher, Jr., and they reside in Pinehurst, along with their dog, George. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with her family and friends.
