Doug Dean is an attorney serving injured people in Southwest Georgia and other parts of the state. He aggressively advocates for his clients by building cases that insurance companies and negligent parties cannot ignore. Doug and the firm’s injury team help clients navigate the complicated web of adjusters, insurers, doctors, medical records, and the court system to achieve the best result. Doug has an extensive track record of quickly obtaining significant results for clients and maximizing their total benefits by ensuring that the outcomes of their injury cases do not negatively affect other sources, such as disability insurance or Social Security benefits.

Doug frequently practices in cases involving auto accidents, slips and falls, and workers’ compensation in state and federal courts throughout Georgia. He also litigates business and commercial disputes, including contract and collection matters, and has successfully resolved cases with more than $1 million at stake.

Doug serves on the Board of Directors for the Cordele Lions Club and the Board of Directors for the Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his extensive work with local civic organizations, he works to encourage students to practice in rural areas by coaching area high school mock trial teams, helping students prepare for the Law School Admissions Test, and fostering mentorship relationships between students and attorneys.

Outside of work, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and cat and bird. His hobbies include international cooking, competitively barbequing, and biking on country dirt roads.
